Problem: As the years go on, the earth’s overall temperature is on the rise and this is putting our health and future at risk. The immense number of cars waiting in traffic leads to air pollution, noise pollution and carbon emissions. The solution is for people to raise awareness of this issue and encourage the city council to implement this within our community for the betterment of everything.

Audience:
The target audience for my infographic are adults, starting at the age of 18 and specifically people who travel miles for work but want to reduce expenses.

The information is intended towards adults due to the fact that their actions impact the world more than any other age group. The infographic talks about current controversial topics that need to be considered for the betterment of the environment for future generations and the reduction of health risks.

This infographic is intended to be placed in parks, libraries, distant neighborhoods and the “town center” and this way, it would reach more people and gain awareness soon. This product points out the pros of using public transportation and this is beneficial for appealing to the audience. The infographic is easy to comprehend and to the point and this encourages people to start today, even if public transportation was the last thing on his/her mind. The individual sections focus on different elements that factor into pollution and climate change and it shows people that “one little step” can make a notable impact on the long run.

I am a student at Keller High School and I’m 15 years old. I can’t drive for 2 more months. My dad drives me around all the time, whether it’s to watch a movie, go to school or go to my SAT classes. It’s hard to just depend on parents because at times, they are busy as well. Sacrifices need to be made when it comes to spending time “outside” of the house due to this problem.

Though I am a student and am often occupied doing schoolwork, I need to hang out with friends and go places. This is hard, especially in our community where everything is so spread out.
