We work with St Vincent De Paul where a few volunteers from Santa Sabina (students and teachers) take a van and visit the many homeless people at Martin Place at least once a month. They bring sandwiches, drinks and sweets, not only do they provide food but they provide company. We also work with Matthew Talbot hostel for homeless men. Matthew Talbot centre hostel provides a place for the homeless men to sleep, eat, take showers and even help them get their life together. Santa Sabina helps by donating soap, shampoo, towels etc.. the seniors at our school also help by setting up and clearing the tables before and after dinner on Thursdays. They speak out for people who aren’t as privileged as we are, people such as refugees, aboriginals, and people with disorders. We help by donating our hall for them to them for no cost so they can have a literary Justice event where they invite many people and authors to talk.
