The article by “Chronology,” by Sarah Boslaugh, it was surprising to see the result in 2007, the number of Asian Americans in higher education in the United States doubled nearly every decade since 1971 to 2005 (page xxxvii). The result shows that many Asian families immigrated to United State for a better life and education. I have a couple of friends and family members were from Vietnam, and they immigrated to United State with nothing. Now some of them became doctors, pharmacists, and business owners due to education.
In Warren Blumenfeld’s article, he uses the term “social production of knowledge.” He describes it as a dominant group controlled the perspectives and knowledge of other groups and denies their opinion (third paragraph). Histories
