How is that apple you're eating? Chances are that without bees that apple would have never been pollinated and most other fruits too! Bees are very important to the who food chain without them we would have lots of unpollinated plants so the can not produce “the food” it provides for us. PCCD (phenomenon colony-collapse disorder) is what scientist are calling the disappearance from bees and the cause is preventable. Additionally americans need to protect bees because without bees our food system will be dramatically affected by not having fruit pollinated.

Without bees it will cost farmers a lot of money just to pollinate their crops. Which will trigger food prices to go up to cover the costs of the pollination. Which will cause an economic collapse.
