There are several reasons I am seeking a scholarship from Saybrook University, the most valid being financial need. In 2012, I took a sabbatical from full-time employment to pursue a PhD. I utilized my savings to meet financial obligations. At this juncture, finances are quickly depleting and assistance is required to complete this endeavor. In addition to pursing this degree, I have remained active in serving the community, especially my church. I serve in various leadership positions including deaconess, women’s mentoring program for teens and college women and teaching a women’s Sunday school class.
