I pursued a career in school counseling because I have a strong interest in students’ success. I will contribute to students’ success by providing all students with academic, career, and personal/social counseling services. In this role as a school counselor, I am enthusiastic to empower students to become productive, well-adjusted adults in society by helping them set higher standards and goals for themselves. I will create a safe and optimal school environment that will be conducive to learning for students of all cultures, backgrounds, and personalities. I will build rapport with every student to ensure that I will develop suitable educational plans and select appropriate courses that will match their educational interests and career goals.
