A: First, I went to the bank to get cash. Then I bought a rechargeable flashlight with batteries and candles, numerous gallons of water, 60 gallons of gas, canned food, and a generator. Then I closed all the windows with shelters and emptied my fridge and freezer. Anything expensive I put 2 or 3 feet above the floor like computer and television. I also bought a first aid kit. A: I was never bored. My senses were extremely sharp and aware. I was ready for anything coming. I was really ready for everything. My mind was thinking 24/7 always what could happen and how I could escape that. For example, I put bags with sand on the door so that if it floods the water will not go in the house. And on top of that, I put duct tape on the frame of the doors. I tied whatever could fly outside such as chairs, tables, pergola, sheds, fence, garden tools and so much more.
