A scientific method is in which a problem is identified, relevant data are gathered together and a hypothesis is formulated and tested. The scientific method is one of the most important ideas in science; it all begins with one question. What would we like to receive from the research? The reason could just be an understanding for the present or trying to achieve knowledge of something that could be greater for the future. This method is used worldly every day to make new discoveries.
My scientific method would be focused on transportation. I would begin with the question. Are cars the most effective transportation? I would have to use the scientific method steps to be able to try to prove my hypothesis. I will gather information to do my research, test my hypothesis and present my findings. In 1000 B.C., people could transport themselves and their goods by walking, riding an animal, or by riding in a cart pulled by an animal. Crossing water, people could paddle a boat or have an animal walk beside the river and pull the boat. These methods of transportation required muscle power, either human muscles or animal muscles. Today we have the ability of choices to be able to make our own determination as to what transportation better fits us.
