Most of you know Sean Bell as the shooting incident which happened in Jamaica, Queens, New York. Unfortunately Sean Bell was killed on November 25, 2006, when three men were shot at a total of fifty times most of them where cops who had guns, the cops shot at them because “they saw one of Bell’s friend reach for a gun”. The New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has said “it sounds to me like excessive force was used, “and has called the shooting "inexplicable" and "unacceptable". I agree with Michael Bloomberg, it was unjust to shoot a man because they were under the impression that he and his friends were “armed” but they really wasn’t Bell took out his comb and cops though it was a gun, It’s sad how people in this century will kill a MAN because you felt you was under the impression that you was endangered because he was black. People need to think before they take action so they won’t commit something they will regret.

It is our duty as citizen of America to fight for our belief and rights whether if you are a male or a female. In WWI and WWII women served in numerous parts such as the Army Nurse Corps, and the Women's Army Corps (WAC). They carried out various roles such as clerical work, mechanical work, photo analysis, and sheet metal working; in some cases they were utilized as test pilots for fighter planes as WASPS. In 1979 enlistment qualifications became the same for men and women. While women were able to enlist, they were prohibited from direct combat roles or assignments. In 1994 the Department of Defense officially banned women from serving in combat, but, on January 24, 2013, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta removed the military's ban on women serving in combat. Implementation of these rules is ongoing. There is some speculation that this could lead to women having to register with the Selective Service
