Lady Macbeth loved him so much that she wanted to kill for him to be king. The love ultimately it lead to her death. The guilt and shame from what they had done lead to her going crazy. The guilt was making her see different images “Yet here’s a spot/Out,damned spot, out I say! One.Two.Why then, /‘tis time to do’t” which lead to her killing herself ( IV.i.25-29). Macbeth kept killing other people to keep his secret and at the end of the play was killed because of all the bad decisions he made trying to cover up his tracks. Ultimately Lady Macbeth is the guiltier of the two. She pushed him to kill Duncan and become king. If she would not have pushed him, he could have become king without killing anyone. Innocent people would not have had to die and he could have eventually become king, but we will never know.
The Macbeth’s relationship changed immensely from the beginning to the end. Their decisions not only led to self-destruction, but also pulled them apart.
