Class was written by Sherman Alexie, in the story Alexie talks about a half-white, half Native American man named Edgar trying to find his sense of belonging in the world. The story starts off with him meeting his future wife Susan McDermott. Not being married long Edgar discovers his wife is cheating on him. In turn he starts cheating on her, years later she becomes pregnant with their first child and loses it. Their marriage wasn't all that great, Edgar always felt like she blamed him for the death of their child. The conflict arises when they are first married.
