The movie Seven Pounds starts off with a man making a 911 phone call. Tim and his fiancé were driving on a date night when Tim decided to look away to read at a text message. As Tim continued to suffer from this traumatic event he help’s his brother out by donating one of his lungs to him, this is when Tim realized that by donating parts of his body he is able to compensate for the seven lives he took that horrible night. During the movie Tim seeks for six other good people that he would be able to save. As Tim seeks to find the perfect people to help he is able to find and donate part of his liver to a woman who works as a child services worker he then donates one of his kidney’s to a man who works as a hockey coach that helps Latino’s receive scholarships to play hockey. As Tim struggles to find other good candidates he returns to the child services worker and asks her if there is anyone in which she knows that really need some help she was then able to direct him to a woman who had two children and suffered from an abusive relationship that she wasn’t able to escape. Tim then seeks to go find her and her two children and he gives them his home. Tim then struggles to find two last good candidates so he steals his brothers IRS credentials and finds a man who is blind that works as a telephone meat salesman.
