The Bloomingdales advertisement for their winter catalog show a woman is laughing, head hurled back, concentrated on something over her right shoulder. A man gazes at her, unsmiling. The caption reads: "Spike your best friend’s eggnog when they’re not looking." Bloomindales is lavishness department stores that sell merchandise. This is personally offensive because it let people know it is okay to spike anybody drink without the other person knowing. The advertisement offensive representatives sexism and undesirable social aspect of what the United States society with many females being sex abuse and add to the rape culture. The advertisement represents that sexual intercourse without his or her consent is okay under influence.
