1. Do you agree with the basic claims of Sextus Empiricus and with the argument that skepticism leads to tranquility?
While reading about Sextus Empiricus I would have to say that I agree with the claims that are mentioned. I agree that we should be able to affirm beliefs that we actually experienced. That the perception of objects are suspended- that prevent from continuation. That objects may appear to be real but through our perceptions we cannot be certain that the reality of our perceptions are independent. I agree with this claim that our perceptions of reality could possibly not be real. I also agree with that skepticism can lead to tranquility. That being skeptics lead people to seek tranquility. That the world is a confusing and frustrating
