“Mysterious Skin”, released in 2005, follows two young teenage boys who both experienced very traumatic happenings in their childhoods. Both of these boys were sexually abused by their Little League baseball coach, who mysteriously leaves town after the summer it all occurred. The whole film is a double narrative which follows both their stories simultaneously. Brian (played by Brady Corbet) remembers only that it started raining during a game. He comes to again five hours later in the crawlspace of his home with a bloody nose, with no memory of what happened in those hours.
