As mankind draws its first breath, it is catapulted into the world of the infant. Helpless and crying, this stage exposes the vulnerability and dependency of the species; then slowly, the infant grows older yet still reliant on elders to no longer hold and rock to sleep, but to push away. This new schoolboy must be coaxed to learn and pay attention as he crawls slowly to school, however this stage is crucial as man discovers that things, …show more content…
I believe that would be a major problem. Analogous with this concept, we completed a mathematics puzzle in class yesterday- everyone was grouped into teams of four and given a single sheet of paper. The paper showed an expression at the top and we each had to add or subtract another expression on our turn. For example, the first person would work off of the original expression, the second person would work off of the first person’s expression, and so forth. If any of us had made even one mistake, the entire worksheet from that mistake down would be incorrect. Likewise, if man makes a single mistake that ruins a stage, I think that each subsequent stage would be slightly off- one number wrong, one sign away. To make myself absolutely positive that the next stages will not be slightly off, I have deducted three paths to success. The first: Mantras. They were originally intended for those who meditate to clear their minds. However, by repeating a word or phrase that encourages him, a mantra, man can overcome challenges and make himself more careful and harder to knock down. My second strategy comes through goals. Goals, when properly broken down and with steps taken to achieve them, can ensure that everything goes your way as long as you work hard. Lastly, simply enjoy life. Although structure is important as he moves through the stages, sometimes I believe that mankind should just sit and stare wistfully into the sunset. Without any enjoyment in our lives, there is no point in attempting to
