In the film Macbeth, the actors and the director effectively interpret Shakespeare’s scene where Lady Macbeth is close to killing herself. In the original Macbeth, by Shakespeare, it is conveyed that Lady Macbeth is talking in her slumber. In this state she talks about how guilty she is for the murder of King Duncan. In addition, her guilt is shown through her idea that she has blood on her hands. She continuously says that she cannot wash the blood off of her hands, which is in fact true because all of this “blood on her hands” is simply the guilt she has for murder of Duncan.
