Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech is a fictional story that takes place sometime in the 1980’s or 1990’s. It is set in various places, including Bybanks, Kentucky and Euclid, Ohio, but also many towns and highways during a road trip from Ohio to Idaho. The story focuses on a 13-year-old girl named Sal, and her move with her father, from her childhood home in Bybanks, Kentucky to a small ome in the town of Euclid, Ohio. Sal’s mother recently left home on a trip to deal with some emotional issues following a miscarriage. Sal doesn’t really understand her mother’s trip and is upset when she learns that her mother is not coming back.
