Sherwood’s Physical Game Last Saturday the 8th grade Sherwood recreational soccer team named “Sherwood Elites” were playing physical. In the second half, flags and penalties were all over the place, after the game this begged the question: is there enough protection for team sports? The first half was pretty slow, the opposing team got 3 goals and the only penalty was an offsides on the opposing team. The second half was more interesting, Sherwood player John Dotson plowed into #18, Sherwood teammate Protus tripped #20 and Sherwood player Gavin got tripped by #10, and that was just the highlights. The opposing team ended the half with two goals. In the end the score was 5-0 and three people almost got a yellow card. This raises the debate
