Story Title- Bribery Bound
The screams of terrified children filled the air as Kingda Ka flew past as we walked up to the line of El Toro, Six Flags, New Jersey. When we got in line there was a worker standing there in front of a, “This ride is closed,” sign. We turned away when Welvin thought of a brilliant, but dangerous idea, “We should bribe him into letting us ride it!”
“I’m not sure about this Welvin, it might not be safe.” I said nervously as I stared at the part of the coaster that was clearly under construction.
My best friend Welvin then assures me, “It’ll be fine, it should be safe enough to ride.” I responded with an unsure, “Ok fine.” Welvin walks up to the man and gives him $30 and the man lets us in. …show more content…
It’s clinking and clanking made it very loud. This sounded different from when I went here last year but I just assumed it was because of the construction on the ride. We were going pretty fast at this point considering this was only the beginning of the ride.
We were going over the first big hill and racing down at what I was guessing to be about 70 MPH when I heard a loud, “CRACK!”
I didn’t realize what was happening When I woke up I was in a hospital bed. I moved my right arm and cried out in pain as the doctors told me that my arm was broken and they were gonna get it in a cast as soon as possible. I asked where Welvin was and the nurse pointed to her right and I turned to see him still asleep. I asked, “Is there anything wrong with
