School lunches should be longer because lunch is a time where kids can socialize and eat. School lunches that are less than 30-45 mins should be longer. So in my opinion school lunches should be longer. One reason why kids should have longer lunch time is, during class you don't have much time to socialize with others and during lunch you have to try to socialize and eat. If lunches were longer, that would mean kids could eat more, less lunch would be wasted. Also, kids that don't have food at homeschool lunch and breakfast is the only time kids can get a good meal. Having shorter lunches would still be ok because of not having to have shorter class periods. But still, kids can do work at home. School work is not a need, but food is. That's
