Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz. The bee population is slowly decreasing and people should take action to save the bee population. Government officials have debated the effect that bees have had on the environment. One reason we should save the bee population is because bees generate $235-$577 billion a year. My next reason is if the bees die, so do the plants that pollinate. My last and final reason is that pollinator bees help plants to grow and produce fruit.

The first reason we should take action in saving the bees is because they generate lots of money per year and it is really helpful for the community. Recalled from the text,"The estimated value of global crops that directly rely on pollinators is $235-$577 billion a year. The first thing that this proves is that bees do not only generate a lot of money, but they are also very vital to the environment. The next thing that this proves is that if we did not have any bees in the environment we would not function right, they do so much stuff not only for you but also for our community. The last thing that proves if bees go extinct, lots of food will be affected. For example, almonds, apples, kiwi, peaches, pears, etc. Clearly bees are very vital to the environment …show more content…
According to the text,"Various animals depend on bees for their survival because their food sources—nuts, berries, seeds, and fruits—rely on insect pollination. Birds and other insects also count on plants pollinated by bees for food and shelter. This means, that if bees go away, then all of the animals that they pollinated will die. The text also states, several plants important to bees have been destroyed by pesticides. When those plants disappear, so do the bees. When the bee population declines or disappears, so do the plants pollinated by those bees. Clearly, we should take action in saving the bee population before we are out of
