Every year, thousands of students go to college or university for higher, post-secondary education. Since many people graduate and earn their degrees, they look forward to becoming functioning members of society. However, many of these students are in debt promptly coming out of college and many years, even decade after that. College tuition has become the highest form of debt people have in this country. This crippling debt can make people stress on how they will pay it off and even regret going to college altogether, despite it being proved that people with degrees earn more money than those who do not. Moreover, simply going to college in state can save students fortunes while still earning the degree that is the gateway to higher pay and higher job security, something that people will come to value in the years to come. …show more content…
