Racism has been a problem in our society for centuries. However, race is often not addressed in the classroom. People argue that the classroom should be used to discuss math, reading, writing and social studies; not race. People feel that race should not be discussed because the classroom should be color blind. Nevertheless, teachers and students are not color blind in the class room.
