For my kin diagram, I interviewed my close friend Shyann who I've known since high school. She's the only biological child of her divorced parents, Tommy and Judy Burden. Her four siblings, James Jesse, Serena, and Sydney are all adopted. Her father is Tommy II, but he chose not to pass down that surname. He did so because his father isn't involved in his, or his children's lives whatsoever. He doesn't know if his dad got remarried, remarried then divorced, or if he's still single. Neither he nor his sister knows where their father is living, or if he's even still alive. Shyann hardly knows her father's side of the family. Their weak relationship is because they don't know her grandfather's whereabouts and because her grandmother is now deceased.
