Personally, I did not anticipate that the chapter “Atossa’s War” in The Emperor of All Maladies by Siddhartha Mukherjee to be a brief chapter. However, although “Atossa’s War” is brief, there are two statements in the chapter that I believe made this chapter as one of my favorite chapter in the book is due to the statements regarding the war on cancer and the hypnotic game of cancer. To say nothing of, Siddhartha Mukherjee’s statement of how the war on cancer is best redefined and how Germaine’s cancer had taken over her life in the hypnotic game of cancer left me in reflecting and compelled me to believe that "Atossa's War" is one of the best chapters in the biography.
