The Silk Road running helped their economy also run and maybe even be better. For example, in the Silk Road Essay/Background it says that China never revealed how to make its silk which would make others want it even more, in 4000 B.C.E. Or other cities had goods that other cities didn’t have which made others want them.If China could make something that no one else could make or figure out how to make that makes others interested in buying it even more. The Silk cultivation begins in 4000 B.C.E. This makes the demand of silk go up by more helping China’s economy. If the Silk Road wasn’t around at that time they wouldn’t have cultivated their silk and sold it to many cities throughout eastern and western civilizations. Also, the horses from Ferghana were also very valuable because they were believed to be Heavenly Horses. In the poem by the Han Emperor Wu-Ti he wrote, “The heavenly horses are coming…” That proves that, he believed an idea that was spread by the Silk Road.
