What is Scientific Racism? Scientific racism is the use of scientific technologies to implicate racial superiority or inferiority in racist manner. W.E.B. Dubois known as William Edward Burghardt was a leading African American sociologist, writer and activist, married to Shirley Graham in (1951) after his previous wife died. Dubois was very well educated at Harvard University and other universities as well. He studied with some of the most important social thinkers of his time, created the Niagara Movement in 1905. He also earned fame for good work known as the Souls of Black Folk. Dubois was the founder of the National Association of Colored People aka (NAACP) and editor of its magazine.
The NAACP persuaded presidents to end racial discrimination in hiring and military service. It grew 60 people to a membership of more than 500,000 today.Dubois taught at Wilberforce University and Atlanta university, he chained the peace information center. Washington. The two leaders of the black community were Booker T Washington and W.E.B. Dubois who disagreed on the strategies for black social and economic progress. Booker t washington was the most influential black leader of his time. He accept blacks to accept discrimination for the time being and concentrate on keeping themselves composure through hard work. He would respect whites and to help lead to African Americans being fully accepted as citizens and their color integrated into all town or city of society just as the whites. W.E.B.
