Despite the perpetual flux of society, America promises to always safeguard our most basic human principles. The Declaration of Independence encompasses the fundamental sanctity of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” Unsurprisingly, these unalienable rights that composed America were inspired directly by Enlightenment philosopher, John Locke. Just as how America was governed in the shadows of Locke, so too can The King’s College be inspired and led by Locke’s commitment to both knowledge and religion.
