The curiosity of Frederick Douglass and Siddhartha compelled them to go into the world and search for knowledge. Their curiosity brought things they valued the most, for Siddhartha his curiosity brought him the spiritual enlightenment and peace of mind he desperately needed. For Frederick Douglass his curiosity brought him the education he wanted; being a slave boy in the 1800’s education was a dream for him. Like Siddhartha he turned his experiences in the world into his teachings. Frederick Douglass made the young white kids in his community listening to their conversations and picking up on pronunciation.
