May 17, 2017 Respectfully, Winston and Macbeth are very similar to their positive qualities and tragic flaws. They both have lady friends that contributed to their own fate as well. Winston and Macbeth have similar positive qualities in kindness and imagination. For tragic flaws, Winston and Macbeth compared in isolation, selfishness, and excessive paranoia. Without these two characters, they would not show as a key thematic ingredient. Macbeth’s isolation began after he heard the three witches’ prophecy.
