We always hear about how hard it is to be a single Mom and it's true. We're convinced that being a parent of any kind, is one of the hardest jobs known to womankind. But there are some positive things that other single Moms have shared with us, and we want everyone to know! It's not all unwelcome news, let’s look at the positive side!

Whether fate made you a single Mom, or you made a choice yourself, there are some splendid things about your position:

Become the person you always wanted to be and live your life any way you like without being judged by a spouse
You can date, date, date and you don’t have to tie yourself down to just one man, one relationship
You've lived, and your perception of life has changed dramatically

As a Mom, we have a whole new perspective of our bodies, and it's liberating
You will grow into having a sincere, open and genuine relationship with your children, just like a Lifetime movie
You will soon learn who your faithful friends and family members are as they rally around you (or not) displaying their

You can appreciate what you know you must do and you know you can go about that business with security and finesse
It isn't going to happen overnight, but in a few months, you will look back and know that you have this whole thing covered, you can do it well and stand on your own two feet. And all those things you thought you should have are no longer necessary
You’ll leave the office on time to pick up the kids and go home. If you feel the need, take some work home to do after the kids are in bed, but think twice, that should be your “me” time
You'll find that you will feel more bonded to other Moms as well as childless co-workers. Other Moms will help to support your efforts, and the colleagues with no children will remind you to make time for some fun
Use your lunch hour as either time for yourself or take care of some required chores and don’t save them for the weekend. Pay bills, make necessary calls, catch up on your personal emails or run errands
You feel great when you pick the kids up or get home to see them. They have missed you, and they have a million things to share about their day, and there isn't anyone else they love more than you,
