Scott changes the most by overcoming his shyness. In the beginning of Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie, he was very shy and was scared to talk to other people besides his friends. But in the end, Scott overcomes his shyness and starts to talk to people, it is like he stepped out of his comfort zone to overcome his fear. An example of this is that he was scared and afraid to talk to Julia, but would do anything to get closer to her. ““Scott…” “You okay” I asked. I was halfway surprised she remembered my name. At the very beginning of Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie, Scott is playing basketball with his three friends: Kyle, Mitchell, and Patrick. Halfway through the story. Patrick moves out of the state, Kyle becomes friends with the wrestling team, and Mitch kind of goes off the grid, leaving Scott in the dust.
