"Sleeth argues that we have too much stuff and have become consumers in a way that is destroying not only the land, but our souls as well." Thus, this statement is a deep statement, but also a true statement. This particular statement made by Sleeth, reminds me of how the Internet has affected my generation. Graduating high school in 2002, the Internet was just starting to be the next big thing. Like Sleeth said, "we have too much stuff and have become consumers in a way that is destroying our souls." I think the Internet falls within that rlem. I think the Internet has been a culprut in to the destruction into 2 major retail giants such as, K-Mart and Toysrus. Today, we relie so much on the Internet. Technology has a way of making things easier.
