The recent book I have just read was Smart Dog by Vivian Vande Velde. The genre of this book is Realistic Fiction, Science Fiction. This book caught my eye because of the cover. It was a dog on a computer and I like computers a lot. I read that this dog was super smart and was rescued by a girl named Amy. At the beginning of the book, this girl Amy was just a regular girl who goes to school. But her teacher is very mean and hurtful. If Amy is late to school, she gets a detention.
