The sneakers currently being developed in order to help athletes to perform better should be banned in Olympic related events. In general, the use of footwear in the Olympics should be standardized, with customizations only being for fitting the correct foot. In fact, it would be entirely fine if they all used this new sneaker technology. The only issue that this new sneaker technology would bring is if one or more competitors used these sneakers, but another athlete did not. It removes competitve integrity if these sneakers are not banned, or regulated so that everyone has access to them.
