Softball has taught me things that I would never read in a textbook or learn from a lecture. It has taught me about teamwork, leadership, and how to overcome adversity. It has taught me how to take in the good, adjust to the bad, and appreciate just how lucky I am to be able to play the sport I love the most at the collegiate level. When I look back at my all the years of playing softball, I will think about the times during the season where I saw my team six out of the seven days each week. I’ll think about the long talks, the times we sang, Havana , the plane trips, staying up late in our hotel room, and our signature dance moves.
