Sojourner Truth was a black women who was also a slave. She gave a speech called “Ain’t I a Women.” This was about the rights of women and the slavery. In her speech she said, “ What’s that got to do with women’s rights and negro’s rights” ( Ain’t I a Women paragraph 3 ). She was saying this because the white people thought women and blacks aren’t smart. Then they go on about this thing in the head what is it? Brain power what does that have to do with anything?
