As the sojourner grew her education grew too (not very much). The education that Sojourner received was called “informal”, this is because she learned from her master's wife. But the things she learned are very different from the things we learn today, the things that she learned were how to write (only certain things), and how to read ( mostly on “how to be a fine lady” as they used to say). Sojourner grew into a very tall young woman. Like many women back then, she got an arranged marriage.
