All I see is miles and miles of road, little shops, stop signs, and traffic lights, blue skies. Every time when I wake from my short naps I survey the car looking at my dad driving, mom sleeping, Jeanne and Alaina awake, my cousin Koner who is with us because he was staying with us for part of summer vacation.. I was expecting nice sunny days hanging out on the beach, making giant sand castles. My brain was thinking of all the things that I could possibly do. I ask “How many hours? What state are we in?” My dad answered for the most part. We stopped at a McDonalds for lunch. After that short break we were back on the road. Once we picked up lunch, I munched it down in seconds. After that snack I listen to the hum of the engine and close my eyes, starting to doze off, and now I am starting to dream. I feel that the car has shut off now…show more content… Asking my dad to by me the cheapest boogie board. I finally got it. My face had an extremely giant smile on it. From walking slowly to skipping on the sidewalk We went back to the room. I setup my boogie board for tomorrow. My mom, dad, and baby sister Alaina get the two queen beds. Then my cousin Koner, Jeanne ,and I have to figure out a way to fit and sleep on one pull out bed. Somehow we crammed into the small bed.
I woke up freezing cold, only having a thin sheet covering me while the air conditioning was on full blast. Only me and my mom were awake around 7:00 am. Looking out the window dark grey clouds were accumulating. The room is so cold, I am tired looking, my face becomes more and more droopy. I complain to my mom, “ It looks like it is going to rain” Her reply was, “Then lets go and walk on the boardwalk before it starts to rain.” We did not bother waking the others. The sky had a blanket of light gray clouds covering it. We ventured to the other side of the board walk which we did not explore last night. I
