I grew up in a small East Texas town called Jacksonville. Jacksonville is nestled in Cherokee county which is just south of Tyler and northwest of Nacogdoches. I spent the majority of my early life working my grandpa's ranch or running across the lake chasing bass. I lived a really simple life, work Monday through Saturday and church on Sunday. I really stood out in the sea of pastel colors and geld over hair. It was kind of troubling that first of trying to talk to my teachers and classmates because they just couldn't decipher my words through my thick accent.
