At Southern New Hampshire University they will help educate people of any age, but their target group is the non-traditional students. Towards the end of the ad they display the main characters graduation day as he steps through the curtains in his cap and gown, along with a large number of other students that appeared to be graduating as well. This shows that after going through college the way he did (at home), he managed to graduate and he was happy because he was successful and didn’t have to sacrifice time with his family to go through college. Also after this they show him walking across the stage and receiving what looks like his diploma from a man that looks like an authoritative figure compared to the rest. He is wearing a blue gown compared to all the students who have black gowns. This conveys that once again he has experienced success in all of his years of working on college at home, he bursts out in excitement because he has a diploma in something he loves and didn’t have to sacrifice anything but finances and a little time to do his work.
