Waking up every day starts out with a slight feeling of refreshment before the unbearable wave of fatigue sweeps in to take ahold of our bodies which have remained weary from the week’s never-ending line-up of activities (1). Fighting back the tears of exhaustion, we struggle to get ready for school while still held under the powerful spell of sleep. Not only is our drowsiness present, but it has also been encouraged by the exemption of the sole meal meant for nourishment (2). But, who knows, perhaps growing teenagers’ bodies don’t require a healthy meal to start off their long and dull days as high school students who listen to their teachers’ lectures for hours while sitting in desks all day (3)?
