Speed bumps and Speed Humps have been best used to discourage drivers from speeding in neighborhoods all around the United States (dmgov). This is such a good solution to discouraging drivers from driving at a high rate speed that Schools, Government buildings, and Religion Centers have them all around the world and would make a good solution to the Phillips neighborhood street. We live next to the Park Avenue one-way and drivers who are trying to take a shortcut thru Oakland side of the street speed thru causing loud noises and even public hazard. The fact that Saint Mary University’s graduate school being next to our building doesn’t help either. The only valid solution to this would be to introduce a speed bump in our neighborhood.
