Spirit Airlines has been throughout so many changes. From the foundation in 1964 to 1999 when they relocated in Florida. In the beginning Spirit Airlines was founded in 1964 as Clippert Trucking Company, known as Michigan organization. Ten years past and the name changed again as Ground Air Transfer, Inc. In 1983, the company saw an opportunity to do business as Charter One.
According to Spirit Airlines’ ULCC (2011) Charter One was located in Detroit they were providing travel packages to entertaiment destinations like Atlantic City, Las Vegas and the Bahamas (para1). In 1992, they changed the name to Spirit Airlines, carried jet equipment that give the opportunity to incorporate passenger services to some major cities of the United States
