Did you know that some grizzly bears are actually white? No they are not albino, they are called spirit bears. Here are some interesting facts about them. No more than 400 spirit bears are said to exist and are found in the Great Bear Rainforest in british columbia. Second, they are better at catching salmon than grizzly bears because their white coat blends into the sky pretty well so they can just stay still and wait to catch a perfect salmon. Third, spirit bears are actually grizzly bears but if both the parents have the right gene, if they have ea cub their coat could turn out into a creamy white that makes it a spirit bear. Next, it is illegal to kill a spirit bear but hunters may still kill a grizzly bear that has the gene that is necessary
