The product that Sproutel designed to help children who have health issues is Jerry the bear, a smart doll that will assist children to create a healthy lifestyle. Sproutel created three types of Jerry the bear such as a bear for a child with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D), a bear for a child with food allergies and a bear for a child who wants to take their health and wellness. Jerry was set to have the same health issue as its owner has. His owner has to take care of him so he can be play with. This feature allows children, as the owner, to learn their health issue by taking care of Jerry. Therefore, children will gain a proper education about their health issues and acquire a new ‘friend’ who has the same problem like them.
