During my five-day's placement in the school, I have observed extensive and various interactions with teachers and students. And there are around 20 students each class. All students have school provided I-Pads. As the placement teacher of class 5M, the majority students of 5M are from the English language background, and there also are few Asia background students as well. School normally starts at 8:30 and finish by 3:30. My mentor teacher is an Australian lady who has almost 15th years teaching experience in primary school. To approach it perfectly, it should be combined with “questioning” and “discussion” strategies together. Not all classes need to be “flipped”, teachers should decide whether to have “flipped” classroom according to the intended goals and outcomes, teachers should match the activity with the learning purpose and outcomes that makes the most sense. Teachers should not only use questioning method but also extended waiting time is needed as it will give more opportunities for answers. Also, I suggest that teachers could choose a topic that students are most interested in for their discussion topic, because more students will be motivated to participate if the topic is relevant to their interests. If the topic is hard, teachers could start with some simple questions and things they are familiar with so that student may feel more comfortable in participating. From this experience, I have seen the various teaching strategies and I will definitely apply them effectively in my own teaching in the
