As a result of this, the death of McDonald and the beating of Dent has the author and Journalist Stan Chu llo scared because he is an African-American male that lives in the United States and he is afraid of the police and he is afraid of being in his own skin because of racism that is thought the United States. The author expresses his life and he says that “I am filled with a deep sense of anger and outrage at what has become a pattern of white police officers hunting down black men and killing them in cold blood as if to say that their lives are expendable and disposable”.
