A Red Supergiant star is an aging star that has consumed all of its core’s supply of hydrogen fuel. The reason the planet is red is because the planet got cool and it got the color red. A interesting fact about this star is that they are one of the largest known stars. But these stars are not the brightest in our universe. After the whole Supernova star has exploded the star that comes after that is called a Neutron star. A Neutron star is a mixture of protons and electrons melting together. A Neutron is a city sized stellar object that has 1.4 of the sun’s mass. This star isn’t that big but it can cause a quark star and then that quark star can turn into a black hole. An interesting fact about a Neutron star is that one teaspoon of that star weighs about six billion tons. So as you can see the Supernova is an interesting star. Not only is it one of the brightest explosions that takes place in space but it takes millions of years for its brightness to go fade. Some of the materials we find here on Earth today come from a Supernova explosion. A Supernova doesn’t have to be a certain type of star for it to become a Supernova. An interesting fact about a Supernova is that when the stars core collapse it only takes one second for it to become a
